FROM GODS TO GUARDIANS: THE EVOLUATION OF OUR OBSESSION WITH CATS

Across human communities, creatures like cats have had a significant impact on attracting considerable attention from people. This article illustrates chronological relationship and socio-cultural [1]evolution between humanity and cats from ancient times to contemporary period. The exploration begins in Ancient Egypt, where cats were highly respected and even treated as gods. It then moves to Medieval Europe, a dark era when fear  turned these innocent animals into symbols of evil. Eventually, the article analyze modern times by exploring how cats have become internet stars and essential emotional friend in our daily lifestyle. By looking at these different times in history, this study figures out that our love as well as passion for cats is not just a temporary phase. Instead, it reflects how deeply human society and our way of thinking have changed over time.
